Minas Tirith is made up from several different images from the Tapestry.
Originally it was to be just a background feature of the "Pelennor Fields" piece, but I liked the image so much that I decided it needed its own piece all to its self.
The size of the embroidered image is 7 x 8 inches, I wanted to see just how small I could make it!
The thread used is silk and from this photo you can see how dense the stitches are, the photo is bigger than life size and you look closely you can see individual stitches.
