2001 - 2006 - Amanda Perkins.
I have just started making art work again.
Not quilts but intasia knitting,
I specialised in this at art college and so 20 years later have gone back to my roots.
At the moment I am still designing, it not as easy as I thought, but hopefully I am beginning to get to grips with the intracasies of designing intarsia patterns.

You may recognise it as a "Natalie Flower".
I am now working on a much refined and complex piece, which is one of the Bayeux tapestry tree's. I have changed the needle size and am now using size 2mm needles, the smallest I have ever seen.

I am hopeing to sell the designs as cushions and kits, however they will be suitable for cross stitch and tapestry.
Keep a watch on this page for new developments.
Sutton Hoo Snakes
August 2006 - 14 x 14 inches square
Apart from 2 glaring mistakes in the snake design I am quite happy with this, do I knit it again or do I settle for this and just change the design. Trouble is I am desperate to see all my designs knitted, but I should really get it right before moving on.
Tapestry Tree
July 2006 - 14 x 12 inches square
A bit wonky and I haven't got to grips with the fact that a stitch doesn't measure as a square. I am not 100% happy with the colours and the fact that the top branches disappear into the border.
