I keep sketchbooks that I also use as diaries, I am very precious about my sketchbooks and don't like to draw on the pages. I draw, paint etc on paper then stick them in the sketchbook.
I have a tiny sketchbook that it is full of flowers.
I took it to Scotland and actually drew on the pages!

I have epilepsy, which at present is under control and has been for 5 years ( fingers crossed).
This painting was what I was physically doing when I had my last fit (jan 1999) - I wonder if this was the reason.

Over the past 2 years I have done very little sketchbook work. I spend my evenings embroidering rather than painting and drawing.
However I do keep all my rough design sketches and am building a huge pile of working sketchbooks.
